Support Meinong in the Top 10 Vote & Enter to Win Free Accommodation Coupons with Postcards

The competition for Taiwan's Top 10 Tourist Small Towns is fierce. To continue rallying votes for Meinong, the Kaohsiung City Government has launched a postcard lottery. Members of the public can cast their support by personally dropping off postcards endorsing Meinong at the ballot box set up in the first-floor lobby of the city government’s Sihwei Administrative Center. Five lucky winners will be drawn in the second wave of the event tomorrow (22nd), receiving free accommodation coupons for homestays such as Renjia Mountain Villa and Zhongzheng Lake. The third wave of the lottery will collect postcards submitted from tomorrow until February 28th, with another five winners to receive free accommodation coupons drawn on February 29th.

Additionally, the voting postcards collected during these two events will be sent to the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for a second round of drawings after the weekly lotteries. Participants still have a chance to win a Nikon digital camera. To join the lottery, simply write “Support Meinong” on a purchased postcard, fill in the recipient address: 15F, No. 111, Songjiang Rd., Taipei, 104, Taiwan, c/o Tourist Small Town Evaluation Unit, or use the official event postcards, affix a 2.5 NTD stamp, and personally drop them off at the ballot box in the Kaohsiung City Government.

For online voting, members of the public can join the “Kaohsiung Tourism Network Fan Club” on Facebook, select the “Exclusive Support – Meinong Striving for Top 3 in Tourist Small Towns” campaign, and then vote on the Taiwan Top 10 Tourist Small Towns website (xn--kkru9ht3abzf.tw). If Meinong ranks in the top three of the “Top 10 Tourist Small Towns” results, participants can enter a draw for 28 prizes, including round-trip flights between Kaohsiung and Macau and free stays in presidential suites.
