SkyTeam Alliance Launches Africa Ticket Discount Promotion with Up to 75% Off

The global airline alliance SkyTeam has launched an Africa ticket package. Travelers purchasing the Africa ticket can select a minimum of 3 and up to 16 discounted flight segments, with fares calculated based on direct flight mileage. Discounts of up to 75% compared to regular ticket prices can be offered. Kenya Airways, the SkyTeam member responsible for operating the package, runs flights to 45 destinations across 36 countries within Africa, including Johannesburg in South Africa.

The discounted flight segments have no minimum stay requirements and allow open-jaw itineraries (entering and exiting at different points), enabling travelers to stay multiple times in the same city. The Africa ticket package is now on sale and applies to journeys departing on or after March 1. The package is available for business and leisure travelers using intercontinental flights to and from Africa operated by any of SkyTeam’s 15 member airlines, or those holding Round the World tickets.

Kenya Airways offers flights from Hong Kong and Guangzhou as well as cities in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East to Nairobi. Other SkyTeam member airlines that provide Africa routes include Air France, ITA Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and Delta Air Lines. Korean Air will launch a new route to Nairobi in June. Associate member airlines Saudi Arabian Airlines and Middle East Airlines (Lebanon) also offer flights to Africa.
