In March, spring is the season for cherry blossom viewing. At Dabangan Forest Hot Spring Resort in Sanxia, large swaths of cherry blossoms have begun to bloom one after another. The park features vibrant pale pink cherry blossoms, delicate and elegant Somei Yoshino cherries, and ethereal Showa cherries. Strolling here, you can immerse yourself in a rich cherry blossom atmosphere. This cherry blossom season will continue until the end of March.

In addition to the vast cherry blossom trees, the park is home to precious mid-to-low altitude native tropical rainforests. The rainforest is covered with large buttress roots and teems with diverse insect and plant life, making it a sight and subject worthy of appreciation and study. Moreover, due to the presence of sodium bicarbonate mineral spring veins, Dabangan Forest Hot Spring Resort also offers a high-quality hot spring soaking environment.

In March, azaleas bloom alongside Somei Yoshino and Showa cherries; in April, the air will be filled with the subtle fragrance of jasmine, and the torch ginger flowers will also bloom this month, along with some late-blooming Showa cherries. By May, the season of falling tung blossoms arrives, accompanied by the blooming of the pink flowers of the acid vine—flowers that the indigenous people once often picked for their young leaves as a salt substitute. Each month offers different flowers to admire.
