Tigerair Taiwan launches its first flight to Busan, South Korea today! Operating three flights per week with exclusive gifts for passengers

Tigerair Taiwan officially inaugurated its second Korean route from Taoyuan International Airport today (19th). In the initial phase, three flights will operate weekly on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Tigerair Taiwan also held a routine inaugural flight photo ceremony in the Taoyuan Airport terminal. Passengers on the inaugural flight not only received specially designed commemorative postcards from Tigerair, but also a Korean tourism guide and a map, each provided by the Korea Tourism Organization.

Tigerair Taiwan launched the Taoyuan–Busan route on the 19th, initially operating three flights per week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The outbound flight IT606 departs Taoyuan Airport at 15:50 (15:25 on Thursdays), while the return flight IT607 departs Busan Airport at 19:35 (19:30 on Thursdays).

To celebrate the inaugural flight, Tigerair Taiwan also held a routine inaugural flight photo ceremony in the Taoyuan Airport terminal today. Passengers on the inaugural flight not only received specially designed commemorative postcards from Tigerair, but those on IT606 also received a Korean tourism guide and a map provided by the Korea Tourism Organization. Meanwhile, passengers on the inaugural Busan–Taoyuan flight IT607 departing from Gimhae Airport in Busan received a Taiwan travel guide, a one-day pass for Taipei’s sightseeing double-decker bus, and an airport bus coupon each.

Busan is South Korea’s largest port city, featuring a variety of oceanic attractions and historical sites. The famous Haeundae Beach draws not only large numbers of Koreans every year but is also a popular destination for tourists. The convenience of the Busan subway allows travelers to easily reach the city’s renowned attractions, enhancing the flexibility of trip planning. With an average annual temperature of around 14 degrees Celsius, Busan has a typical warm, humid maritime climate, which is relatively mild compared to other regions in South Korea.
