Summer vacation is here — AirAsia’s summer travel promo flights are now live!

The perfect summer vacation season for travel is just around the corner. Students can use the break to explore abroad and broaden their horizons, while office workers and families can enjoy the lovely weather, beautiful scenery, and quality time together. To celebrate its tenth summer since launching, AirAsia has launched the “FUN Start Summer Travel” limited-time summer travel promotion. From now until June 2, 2012, travelers can snap up discounted tickets to popular destinations in Southeast Asia and Australia, with travel dates from June 15 to September 30, 2012.

Travelers departing from Taipei can take advantage of AirAsia’s Fly-Thru transit service to quickly connect via Kuala Lumpur to various destinations in Southeast Asia such as Singapore and Phuket in Thailand, or to Perth and Melbourne in Australia. The convenient Fly-Thru service allows passengers to transit without needing a separate transit visa and enables through-checking of luggage to their final destination, reducing transit time.

This time, the one-way promo fares include taxes and fees. Discounted routes include Taipei–Kuala Lumpur starting from NT$3,500, Taipei–Kuala Lumpur–Medan from NT$5,190, Taipei–Kuala Lumpur–Jakarta from NT$5,890, Taipei–Kuala Lumpur–Singapore from NT$4,490, Taipei–Kuala Lumpur–Phuket from NT$5,390, Taipei–Kuala Lumpur–Perth from NT$7,790, and Taipei–Kuala Lumpur–Melbourne from NT$8,790.
