Millennium Ancient Trees Witness Vows: Shoot a Microfilm to Win a Free Wedding at Alishan

In recent years, the trend of combining weddings with travel destinations has been growing in popularity. Aside from overseas spots like Guam, Alishan, a renowned domestic tourist attraction, is once again hosting the “Wedding Under the Sacred Trees – A Love Story Between Mountain and Sea” event, with thousand-year-old sacred trees serving as witnesses to bless the couples. The event is now open for registration and plans to select 10 couples to participate. Participants are required to create a 3–5 minute microfilm and submit five photos based on the theme “2012 Alishan Sacred Tree Wedding.” Selected couples will receive prizes such as a free 2-day-1-night wedding package at Alishan and a congratulatory gift set.

The registration period for the “2012 New Impressions of Alishan – Wedding Under the Sacred Trees, A Love Story Between Mountain and Sea” runs from now until September 7, with the event scheduled for October 11–12. Participants are required to submit a creative 3–5 minute microfilm and five photos themed around a wedding under the Alishan sacred trees. The selection process consists of two stages: an initial document review and a subsequent work evaluation. Results will be announced on the event website and notified by phone.

Each selected couple will receive a 2-day-1-night Alishan wedding package, including a pre-wedding single’s farewell dinner, one night’s free accommodation at Alishan Hotel, makeup and styling services, a couple’s gift set, and shuttle bus service for up to six guests including the couple and their families.
