Taiwan High Speed Rail reports that more than 669,000 people have downloaded the “Taiwan High Speed Rail T Express” app. To encourage passengers to use the mobile app’s fast ticket booking and check-in service, from now until November 18, passengers who use the service to retrieve their tickets, complete their journey, and log their ticket numbers online can enter a draw. Throughout the campaign period, prizes such as smartphones and one-day Taiwan High Speed Rail holiday tours will be given away each week.

The ongoing lucky draw adopts an accumulating format. Passengers who are not selected in a given week can continue to participate in the draw, and the list of weekly winners will be announced every Monday on the campaign website. Prizes include smartphones, one-day Taiwan High Speed Rail holiday tours to Sun Moon Lake, and free ride vouchers for standard class reserved seats. Each mobile ticket can be registered only once, but mobile tickets for the “Taipei–Banqiao” section are not eligible for the draw.

According to Taiwan High Speed Rail, in 2012, an average of about 4,450 tickets were booked daily via the “Taiwan High Speed Rail T Express” app, with around 1,400 passengers directly using their phones to enter the station and board the train.,After free installation, passengers can use the app to complete seat reservation, payment, and ticket retrieval in one go, then use the QR code to enter the station and board the train directly.
