The Expo Taipei Pavilion will operate until 12/14, followed by the opening of the Taipei Robot Pavilion

Located in the Hua-Bang Park Xinyi Area, the Expo Taipei Pavilion, which was exhibited during the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, will remain open until December 14, 2012, and will officially close the following day. Since its opening on October 8, 2011, the pavilion has attracted over 110,000 visitors. Hua-Bang Park is currently managed and operated by the Taipei City Convention and Exhibition Industry Development Foundation, commissioned by the Taipei City Government. To enrich and diversify the content of the Expo Taipei Pavilion, the foundation will collaborate with the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Industrial Development Bureau and the Industrial Technology Research Institute to create a brand-new “Taipei Robot Pavilion.”

The new pavilion will retain the original theme of the Taipei Pavilion — “Better City, Better Life” — while adding the technological essence of “smart automation.” With robots as its central theme, the exhibition will maximize imaginative space within limited area, creating a high-tech Taipei Robot Pavilion. The revamped Taipei Robot Pavilion will not only showcase domestically developed smart automation technologies but also feature rare international exhibits. It aims to promote cross-sector collaboration among industry, research, and academia both in Taiwan and abroad, connecting with the global stage. Through static displays, interactive touchpoints, light and sound effects, and DIY activities, it offers a fun and educational experience.
