This year’s event features discounts from 3,000 stores, with 200 shops offering up to 30% off. Consumers can enjoy discounts by presenting the “Taipei Shopping Card” at participating stores. A total of 20,000 Taipei Shopping Cards and 30,000 card stickers are expected to be issued, which can also be conveniently downloaded via the event’s official website or by scanning the QR code. The “VIP Coupon,” issued for the first time this year, includes discounts from 200 stores offering deals of 30% off or more. By presenting both the shopping card and the VIP coupon, customers can enjoy premium VIP-level discounts. Additionally, this year’s Taipei Shopping Festival brings together 9 department store operators, including Takashimaya Department Store, Pacific SOGO Department Store, Taipei 101 Mall, ATT 4 FUN, Taipei Station Fashion Square, Miramar Entertainment Park, Uni-President Hankyu Department Store, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, and Far Eastern Department Store. They will launch themed consumer discounts, lucky draws for reaching spending thresholds, and refined welcome gifts during the event.

During the event period, consumers who spend NT$500 or more at any Taipei City store can log their receipts on the official Taipei Shopping Festival website for a chance to win various great prizes. The grand prize is a top-tier luxury SUV. In addition to logging receipts via the official website, this event has also collaborated with electronic receipt software providers to develop a Shopping Festival app. Simply scan your electronic receipt or manually enter your paper receipt using your mobile phone to immediately join the “Spend NT$500, Million-Dollar Lucky Draw” promotion.

This year, the girl group “Dream Girls” has been invited to serve as the image ambassadors for the event. Guo Xuefu represents the classic fashion lifestyle of Taipei, Li Yufen embodies the best of Taipei’s digital technology, and Song Miqin recommends Taipei’s specialty brand souvenirs from the perspective of an international tourist. Additionally, the 2013 Taipei Shopping Festival will also host a “Online Joint Anniversary Sale,” where ten online merchants, including PayEasy, 17Life, Pizza Hut, and L'Occitane, will provide consumers with free discount vouchers worth thousands of dollars, along with attractive in-store product deals. Among them, 17Life is collaborating with the Taipei Shopping Festival for the first time to hold the “17 Shopping! Taipei So Good!” campaign. From now until August 14, it will offer super attractive deals such as 50% off limited-time offers at well-known brands like the self-service buffet “Dining Paradise,” premium ice cream “Häagen-Dazs,” and popular Japanese ramen “Makotoya Ramen.”

For those who love reading, the 2013 Taipei Shopping Festival has also partnered with Times Publishing Group to launch the “Summer Feast. My Reading Time” online book fair. Discounts of up to 34% off are available on numerous bestselling titles, and readers can choose any 3 books from Times Publishing’s selection for just NT$599.
