Kaohsiung’s Qianzhen Heart Bikeway has become a rising attraction thanks to its innovative design and picturesque surroundings. But over in New Taipei’s Yingge District, there’s also a uniquely designed cycling path featuring a bridge that resembles a dragon and beautiful light effects that shift with the sunlight—offering distinct daytime and nighttime atmospheres that can easily rival the Qianzhen Heart hub.

The Sanying Dragon Kiln Bridge is one of five pedestrian and cycling scenic bridges under the “Taipei Riverside Multi-Ring and Multi-Line Recreational Bridge Project,” spanning the Yingge Creek and connecting New Taipei City with Taoyuan City. With a total length of 85 meters, the bridge features highly artistic carvings. When illuminated at night, its dynamic lighting effects create a magical ambiance, while wooden carvings inside the tunnel document 200 years of Yingge’s history—transporting passersby through time on what feels like an artistic and cultural journey.
