EVA Air’s Kitty Jet First Flight to Los Angeles – Limited Fans Group Recruitment Now Open

EVA Air’s first 777-300ER Hello Kitty livery aircraft is set to make its grand inaugural flight on the Taoyuan–Los Angeles route on September 18. To celebrate the launch of the first 777-300ER Hello Kitty livery aircraft, EVA Air has specially launched the “Kitty Jet First Flight to Los Angeles Limited Fans Group,” inviting Hello Kitty fans to fly to the U.S. together. On the day of the inaugural flight, Hello Kitty herself will see passengers off, and renowned Hello Kitty designer Ms. Yamaguchi Yuko (山口裕子) will also host a limited autograph session on the inaugural flight. Members of the fans group can also attend the glamorous Hello Kitty Jet Los Angeles Celebration Party as VIPs, getting up close with Sanrio family characters.

EVA Air stated that the new livery aircraft features a unique theme and appearance that will definitely be a fresh experience for everyone, and is currently in the painting phase. The aircraft will make its first flight on BR12 Taipei–Los Angeles on September 18 and BR01 Los Angeles–Taipei on September 19. Starting from September 20, it will operate regularly every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday on BR16 Taipei–Los Angeles, and every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday on BR15 Los Angeles–Taipei. Future routes may even expand to Europe.

 

Since the end of 2011, EVA Air has successively launched five Hello Kitty livery aircraft, flying to Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Mainland China, Guam, and other destinations, which have been widely loved by passengers. Not only have they captivated travelers in Taiwan, but they have also garnered extensive media coverage in Europe and the United States. To share the adorable charm of the Hello Kitty Jet with more passengers, EVA Air specially collaborated with Sanrio to design a 777-300ER livery aircraft and created an entirely new theme and design.
