A vibrant sea of flowers blooms across 30 hectares, weaving a romantic autumn scene in Taichung

In addition to 30 hectares of stunning floral beauty, the “2013 Xinshe Flower Sea” also features eight carefully curated themed pavilions: “Orchids Worth Seeing,” “Rice in Every Direction,” “Flowers Blooming with Happiness,” “Happy and Fulfilling Countryside,” “Travel and Lifestyle,” “Green Energy and Forest Living,” “Essence of Traditional Herbs,” and “Leisure Agriculture.” There are also five major exhibition areas: “2013 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival,” “Prosperity Garden,” “Taichung City Agricultural Specialties Marketing Area,” “Taichung City Famous Stalls and Local Products Marketing Area,” and “Xinshe District Agricultural Specialties and Food Area.” Visitors can not only stroll through the flower fields and enjoy the leisurely feeling of nature and healthy living, but also experience an enlightening journey through the activities and displays in the various pavilions. In addition to showcasing Taiwan’s agriculture and leisure tourism, the event also authentically presents the rich and colorful rural life.

Now in its eighth year, the Xinshe Flower Sea event has become one of Taiwan’s premier agricultural events every autumn. This year, it not only joins forces with the “Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival” to convey the imagery of rural life and high-quality local agricultural products, but also showcases the most simple and beautiful floral landscapes through the theme “Colors of Nature.” By “evoking genuine emotion through true beauty,” the “2013 Xinshe Flower Sea” is more than just an event—it’s a moment of reflection and reminder about life.
