Beware of bears！ The 2014 Teddy Bear Taichung Carnival Makes a Colorful Debut

The teddy bears are back！ Following the craze of the 2013 teddy bear exhibition, the second edition of the Teddy Bear Taichung Lifestyle Carnival kicks off on November 15 (Saturday) and runs for 58 days until January 11 (Sunday) of the following year. In addition to the company of 200 adorable teddy bears, a series of activities will also be held during the weekends of the exhibition period. Everyone is welcome to join in and enjoy a fun-filled trip to Taichung！

This year’s Teddy Bear Taichung Lifestyle Carnival will center around the theme of “love,” featuring a “big bear with little bear” concept presented in a dual-constellation format. It will include 100 themes, with 200 teddy bears displayed as public art installations. These also incorporate technology, culture, and art to create an environment that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and a fusion of humanistic and technological perspectives. Using AR (augmented reality), visitors can simply scan the painted bears’ AR codes via a dedicated app to interact with 3D teddy bears, making the event even more engaging. Nearly 100 pairs of bears will also transform Caotun Boulevard into Taichung’s “Avenue of Love” and Qiuhong Valley into the “Garden of Love.”
