Taipei Expo Park will host a spooky Halloween party over the weekend of October 25–26 at the entrance plaza of the Yuanshan Park area, allowing everyone to experience the authentic Western Halloween atmosphere that’s both scary and playful. The event includes “Spooky Creative Cuisine,” a “Costume Contest” for kids and pets, a “Ghostly DIY Craft Market,” as well as thrilling “Magic & Acrobatic Shows” and a lively “Costume Street Parade Carnival” – where Taipei Expo Park will hand out candy to kids for trick-or-treating, letting everyone show off their creative spooky side in a joyful environment!

Tienmu: What the Ghost? Halloween Carnival
The sixth edition of the Tienmu: What the Ghost? Halloween Carnival will take place from October 24–26, spanning three days. Themed around Taiwan’s folk belief of “Guānjiàngshǒu” (Generals of Justice), the event features five fearsome, grim-faced generals who will engage in a mock battle with Western-style ghosts on Tienmu streets. Over 200 shops in the Tienmu shopping district will hang pumpkin lanterns, offering free candy for trick-or-treaters. On October 25, Tienmu Sports Park will feature performances by Tienmu Tofu Man and Tatung Baby dance troupes, along with a Coca-Cola Fun Zone, a witch fortune-telling booth, and secret spooky dishes like “Lightning Teletubbies” and “Night Phantoms” from Bedan’s Secret Market. Special limited half-day and full-day tours of the Tienmu shopping district will also be offered at discounted prices. Gather your friends and come join the fun!

Ghosts Unite for Trick-or-Treat Chaos
A well-known Western traditional holiday, Halloween sees both adults and children dressing up in quirky costumes the night before, parading joyfully through the streets and scaring others. By tradition, people dress as demons mainly to ward off evil and seek safety. The eve of Halloween also marks a harvest festival, symbolizing the end of the year and the beginning of a new one. Join the Halloween Carnival at Chengda Shopping District this weekend, from 10 AM to 6 PM on October 26.
