The sixth-generation Glico sign was officially unveiled at 6 p.m. local time on the 23rd. The new sign stands 20 meters tall and 10.38 meters wide, designed with sustainability in mind, featuring over 140,000 eco-friendly LEDs embedded across the entire structure, giving it a much cleaner and more streamlined look compared to the fifth generation.

With the new Glico sign taking over, the lights are on from 6 p.m. to midnight daily. Each day, the Glico running track changes colors dynamically with the LED lights, creating a sense of motion, while famous Osaka landmarks such as Tsutenkaku Tower and Osaka Castle occasionally appear along the route as the Glico character runs by, adding a fresh touch for visitors!
