Has the moon forgotten? Jimmy Liao’s bus appears to guard Taipei City
Jimmy Liao adds another new landmark,Sinyi Realty, in response to Taipei City Government’s “2016 World Design Capital” concept,created the large-scale bus installation art “The Moon Guards the Happy City” themed around the picture book *The Moon Forgot*,which was officially unveiled on November 1,becoming the second major landmark in the Xinyi Planning District after Taipei 101.
The picture book tells the story of a lonely little boy from a single-parent family who one day encounters a moon that has fallen from the sky, forming a friendship akin to “exchanging light as they pass by.” (Photo by MOOK Travel Family Zhang Yingying)
