Visiting Japan? Trying authentic ramen is an absolute must-do experience on your trip. Starting from October 23, Tokyo will host the city’s largest outdoor ramen exhibition, bringing together over 40 ramen shops from Hokkaido to Okinawa for a ramen lover's ultimate festival.

The annual “Tokyo Ramen Show,” which began in 2009, is the largest outdoor ramen exhibition in Tokyo, featuring over 40 ramen shops from Hokkaido to Okinawa. In addition to showcasing Japan’s most popular “regional specialty ramen,” limited-time “collaboration ramen” exclusive to the event will also be introduced. By sampling ramen from across the country in one place, the event promotes local food culture, and is both eye-catching and meaningful — making it one of the most anticipated food exhibitions for both domestic and international visitors.

The 2015 Tokyo Ramen Show will take place over 12 days from October 23 to November 3 at Komazawa Olympic Park in Setagaya, Tokyo. Admission is free, and visitors can enjoy ramen from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily. Each bowl costs 850 yen, and advance tickets will go on sale starting September 1 at 7-Eleven convenience stores across Japan.
