ZAKUZAKU Stick Puffs
Originating from Hokkaido and selling 350,000 sticks per month, the highly popular ZAKUZAKU stick puffs from Tokyo opened in December 2016 at the first floor of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A11. They feature freshly filled custard cream, a crispy outside with a smooth inside texture, and a unique stick shape that’s easy to hold—perfect for street photos. In Taiwan, each ZAKUZAKU stick puff is priced at NT$88, or 6 for NT$498, with a limit of 12 per person.
The three standout features of ZAKUZAKU stick puffs are “freshly filled custard cream,” “crispy outside with a smooth inside,” and “unique stick shape.” The secret to their deliciousness lies mainly in the use of Hokkaido flour and fresh milk, baked daily in-store. After an order is placed, the custard sauce is filled on the spot, resulting in a bite that includes the crunch of almond bits, the slightly burnt crispness of the choux puff, and the smooth custard cream—all in one.

Floral Pang Pai
Floral Pang Pai is more of a takeout-focused shop, with its signature item being oat smoothies. Currently there are 6 flavors, and each flavor always includes fresh milk, oats, wafers, cranberry almond cereal, plus two different fruits blended into the smoothie. In addition to sprinkling flowers on top of the smoothie, they also pair croissant donuts with the drink—the donut becomes the lid of the smoothie cup, with a hole in the middle for a straw, so you can sip the smoothie while eating the donut.
