【Visit an Exhibition】The “Fairy Tale Forest” Special Exhibition at San Chuang Recaptures Lost Innocence and Wonder

With her big blue eyes, golden curly hair, and signature “pouty” lips, Molly from Hong Kong — along with her popular artist father Kenny Wong (王信明) — is making her first collaboration with San Chuang Life Hub in Taiwan by holding the “Childhood Forest” special exhibition, which will be on display from now until June 28.

This special exhibition is the largest overseas showcase by artist Kenny Wong to date, featuring the most paintings, figurines, and the biggest venue. Forty-nine brand-new creations are being shown in Taiwan for the first time, with a total of 151 figurines in various sizes. For the first time, Kenny Wong has also illustrated an animation for his daughter Molly, complete with original music, bringing the adorable Molly to life beyond the canvas. This is sure to offer visitors a refreshing experience. The venue also features a graffiti wall where children can unleash their creativity.

Kenny said that the theme of this exhibition, “Childhood Forest,” was inspired by his own memories of childhood, with the most vivid being the story of “Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf” told by his grandmother. He also shared the stories behind several of the paintings in this exhibition. For example, when he was a child, every time he made a mistake at school, his teacher would tie a small braid on his head. As a result, one painting shows a head with nine trees — representing the nine mistakes he made in one day and the nine braids he was given, a memory that left a deep impression on him.
