It's an ultra-affordable retail chain and a must-visit store for many Taiwanese tourists in Japan. Recently, the company announced on its official website that from now until6June30, it will open254stores across Japan to accept payments in seven foreign currencies, including the New Taiwan Dollar, US Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar, Euro, South Korean Won, Thai Baht, and Chinese Yuan.(7June1After that date, some stores will continue to offer the foreign currency payment service.)Tourists just need to inform the staff of the foreign currency they wish to use when they start their purchase, and the staff will inform them of the current exchange rate for conversion before payment. Additionally, the store will provide change in Japanese yen.
