Flower-Viewing Shuttle Buses
The Taitung County Government has launched flower-viewing shuttle bus services from August 3 to September 11, departing from two locations: “Taimali” and “Taitung County Tourism Service Center.” Buses operate every Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM during the event period. Visitors wishing to take the bus need to make an online reservation three working days in advance. If reservations are not full, tickets may be sold on-site on the day.

Pick-up Location: In front of Taimali Township Office
Departure – Capacity: There are 3 buses per time slot, each with a capacity of 7 people. Each tour takes about 3.5 hours. Online reservations are accepted three days before departure (reservations must be made via the website, and payment must be made the next day for seat confirmation). On-site registration is available if seats remain open on the day.

Taitung Taimali Golden Needle Flower Season Transportation Info
Taitung Taimali is traversed by the South-Link Highway and the North-Link Railway, making transportation quite convenient. Visitors can take trains, buses, drive their own cars, or fly to Taitung City and then transfer to buses or rent a car to get there.
◎ Self-Drive: Via Provincial Highway 9, enter Taimali urban area
1. From Kaohsiung heading northbound: After passing Kilometer 402.5 on Provincial Highway 9, enter Taimali urban area. Look for a Calorie Café (formerly 7-11) → turn left where signs point to Golden Needle Mountain → follow the signs all the way to Golden Needle Mountain
2. From Hualien heading southbound: After passing Kilometer 402 on Provincial Highway 9, enter Taimali urban area. Look for a Calorie Café (formerly 7-11) → turn right where signs point to Golden Needle Mountain → follow the signs all the way to Golden Needle Mountain
