Banqiao District is full of unique brunch shops, and standing out requires some truly creative moves. Recently, near Jiangzicui Station, a “Little Sunny Sky” standing sandwich shop with a strong Japanese aesthetic has emerged, specializing in Japanese-style sandwiches, fried steamed buns, and uniquely Japanese snacks. Paired with an eye-catching Inaho Shrine nearby, it has become a much-discussed specialty spot recently.

The Little Sunny Sky is located at a triangular intersection next to Jiangcui Junior High School, about a 10-minute walk from Jiangzicui MRT Station. Its simple storefront paired with a bright red shrine torii gate gives off a very Japanese feel. It mainly sells various uniquely flavored Japanese-style sandwich meals. Aside from its compact space, customers can only order at the counter for takeout or standing consumption.

The shop offers a variety of uniquely flavored sandwiches. The bread used is specially custom-made milk toast requested from a bakery by Little Sunny Sky. The toasted bread has a slight golden hue—it not only looks appealing but also has a crispy outside and soft inside, offering a faint hint of charred aroma and milky flavor. Paired with generous amounts of shredded cabbage and specially marinated meat, the multi-layered textures make every bite a delightful treat.
