Snoopy Café is now available in Tokyo too

As "Peanuts" celebrates its 65th anniversary, various events and special projects have been launched around the world. In addition to the limited-time SNOOPY Museum opening in Tokyo in March 2016, in October 2015, a SNOOPY-themed “PEANUTS Cafe” will open next to the lush greenery of Tokyo’s Meguro River.

The “PEANUTS Cafe” is located next to Tokyo’s Meguro River and is scheduled to open on October 2. The two-story standalone building features an interior design inspired by the U.S. West Coast, which has strong ties to "Peanuts." The first floor is primarily a café space, decorated with fun comic panels and vibrant neon lights that bring the cheerful atmosphere of the Peanuts series to fans. The second floor offers a variety of Snoopy toys and vintage collectibles, creating the feel of a secret base from the Peanuts universe, complemented by lush green plants that give the space a completely different vibe from the first floor.

For food, the PEANUTS Cafe offers American West Coast-style desserts, coffee, and family meals themed around the adorable Snoopy and Woodstock, along with a wide selection of drinks. The shop will also sell ceramic tableware, mugs, and exclusive café merchandise featuring Snoopy. Peanut fans planning to visit Tokyo after October shouldn’t miss out on a pilgrimage to the “PEANUTS Cafe” by Tokyo’s Meguro River.
