The world’s top 10 best airlines feature both China Airlines and EVA Air!

The international aviation design review platform TheDesignAir recently announced the winners of the “2015 Passengers’ Choice Top 10 Best Airlines” award, with Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific taking the top spot, while Taiwan-based China Airlines and EVA Air ranked second and third respectively.

TheDesignAir was founded in the United States in 2012 and evaluates cabin interiors and airline branding. It has become an emerging indicator of aesthetic design in the international aviation industry. For the “2015 Passengers’ Choice Top 10 Best Airlines” awards, it invited aviation industry experts, frequent flyers, and industry analysts to participate in the selection process. Judging focused on business class cabins, special livery aircraft, and other design elements from an industrial aesthetics perspective, followed by passenger voting to determine the world’s top ten best airlines. The final top ten list saw Cathay Pacific take first place, followed by China Airlines, EVA Air, Singapore Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Etihad Airways, Qantas, ANA, Emirates, and Air New Zealand.

TheDesignAir noted that since October 2014, China Airlines has launched its Next Generation program, introducing a brand-new cabin design and upgrading seat amenities, in-flight entertainment, cuisine, cabin supplies, uniforms, and lounges, all of which present a completely refreshed image. Additionally, China Airlines stated that its new 777-300ER aircraft combines Eastern aesthetics with modern technology, delivering an unprecedented flying experience for passengers.
