The SimpleLife Festival Debuts in Taichung with a Market Stroll

The “Simple Life Festival,” which combines musical performances, local farm produce, lectures, forums, and creative markets, is making its first appearance in Taichung City. This year’s 2015 Simple Life Festival has extended its event duration, running for five consecutive days from December 2 to 6. All activities during the festival are completely free—just bring your good mood and a smile to join in.

The Simple Life Festival, which has been held since 2006, is making its first outing from Taipei to Taichung this year and has extended its event duration. From December 2 to 4, the “City Stroll” event will be held, inviting everyone to participate in themed film screenings, lectures, and workshops to discover the beautiful corners of Taichung’s urban areas. On December 5 and 6, the “Market Stroll” will take place in Taichung Municipal Park, featuring a creative market along with documentary film screenings, music performances, lifestyle design, and forums. The event will also host nearly 40 musical acts, 30 skilled artisans, and 70 market stalls, offering everyone the chance to enjoy great music and creativity while discovering the beauty that surrounds everyday life.
