Japan’s healing character Rilakkuma has come to Taiwan!“The Rilakkuma’s Sweet Times Special Exhibition” will be held at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park on December 26. This is Rilakkuma’s first large-scale solo exhibition in Taiwan, featuring multiple large plush toys, hundreds of Rilakkuma design sketches, and over a thousand types of Rilakkuma merchandise, including exclusive items for Taiwan, all set to fulfill the wishes of Rilakkuma fans. Even the girl group Popu Lady went to pay tribute, and they couldn’t help but let out girlish screams when they saw the Rilakkuma figures.

Popu Lady member Baor was already a huge fan of Rilakkuma and exclaimed that Rilakkuma has a therapeutic effect that helps people relax and relieve stress—just looking at it can brighten your mood. Members Hongshi, Tingxuan, and Yushan were also captivated by Rilakkuma’s charm, taking endless photos on their phones and exclaiming how adorable Rilakkuma is.

The “Rilakkuma’s Sweet Times Special Exhibition” is organized by MOVIC0?ROMOTE SERVICE and the United Daily News Group. Upon entering the venue, visitors are greeted by large plush figures of Rilakkuma, Kiiroitori, and the little chick. Next comes a display of hundreds of Rilakkuma design sketches, allowing Taiwanese fans to explore the evolution of Rilakkuma.

Rilakkuma is a character produced by Japan’s San-X Co., Ltd. It is always relaxed and carefree, dislikes standing or moving its body, and is leisurely at all times. Rilakkuma’s back has a zipper, and inside the light blue polka dots is its secret. Rilakkuma’s companion, Kiiroitori, has a red button on its front but is not a real bear. Kiiroitori is mischievous, loves playing pranks, and often bullies the little chick. The little chick loves cleanliness and often cleans up the mess Rilakkuma makes.
