Asia’s Largest Universal Studios to Open with Magic & Dinosaur Dual Experiences

The world’s sixth Universal Studios will be located in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. This Universal Studios will feature Jurassic Park and Harry Potter as its main themes, with completion and opening scheduled for 2020. Covering an area of 4.2 square kilometers, it will be 0.6 square kilometers larger than Japan’s Universal Studios, making it Asia’s largest Universal Studios.

Gyeonggi-do’s Hwaseong Songshan Green City Theme Park selected Universal Studios as the priority negotiation partner for establishing a theme park, with the area around Sinnaedong in Hwaseong City near Incheon Airport designated as the preferred site for the Universal Studios complex. In the future, visitors may not only have the chance to ride the Hogwarts Express from the Harry Potter films but also venture into the world of Jurassic Park for an adventure—something many are eagerly anticipating.
