●2016Moon River Harbor Lantern Festival
The beloved Moon River Harbor Lantern Festival runs from January 31 to February 28 this year, themed “Moonlight Treasure Box, Illuminating Jinjin.” Art installations under the moonlight showcase the charm of Yanshui, sparkling like treasure boxes. The lantern displays, integrating riverside settings, local communities, and Yanshui’s cultural characteristics, are truly spectacular!

● Swing, Animals—Art & Design Exhibition
This brand-new special exhibition “Swing, Animals—Art & Design Exhibition” (running until August 31), created by 23 artists and designers from 7 countries with animals as the theme, presents two of the most captivating elements in nature and design—“diversity” and “creativity”—through animal-inspired artworks.

In addition, ibon kiosks are now selling tickets for Chimei Museum’s permanent exhibitions, along with combo “ticket sets” that include both general admission and special exhibition entries—limited to 1,600 sets per day. Visitors can conveniently purchase tickets directly at ibon kiosks for museum entry. Nearby the Chimei Museum are also unique attractions such as the Tainan Ten Drums Ren Tang Cultural and Creative Park where you can enjoy drumming, the Furniture Museum for hands-on wooden crafts, or the Hydrogel Sightseeing Factory.
