The annual "Penghu Maritime Fireworks Festival" will light up the night sky of Penghu from April 18 to June 23. During the event, fireworks shows will be held at 9:00 PM every Monday and Thursday at the Guanyin Pavilion Park in Magong City. On May 16 (Monday), the event will be moved to Jibei. Additionally, holiday sessions have been added for April 30, May 7, and June 18 (all Saturdays), making a total of 23 shows.

The Penghu Maritime Fireworks Festival has been held since 2003 and has gained considerable popularity both domestically and internationally over the years, attracting large numbers of visitors during the event period. This year’s festival is themed "Penghu Takes Off, the World Becomes More Beautiful." In addition to inviting renowned fireworks teams to deliver a spectacular visual feast, the event will also feature performances by artists such as Wei-Li An, Fire EX., and Bii (Bii Lyric). As the event period coincides with Mother’s Day and the Dragon Boat Festival, the organizers have added extra shows on Saturdays, totaling 23 sessions. The opening event on April 18 will begin at 7:30 PM, with the opening fireworks display from 9:00 to 9:20 PM. The remaining shows will start promptly at 8:00 PM, with fireworks from 9:00 to 9:15 PM. A dazzling array of fireworks will welcome the arrival of spring in Penghu together with visitors.
