The Central Weather Bureau reported that snow began falling on Yushan at 10:02 AM, with temperatures at 0.5°C.

In addition, affected by a continental cold air mass, the bureau issued a low-temperature warning for 17 counties and cities. From the evening of the 24th until the early morning of the 26th, northern areas are expected to see temperatures between 9 to 11°C, central and Yilan regions around 10 to 12°C, and southern and Hualien-Taitung areas approximately 13 to 16°C.
