The “Rubber Duck” created by Dutch artist Florentijn·Hofman (Florentijn Hofman) has traveled to 33 cities in 15 countries since 2007, and visited Taiwan in 2013, creating a Yellow Rubber Duck craze. Invited by the Macao Cultural and Creative Arts Association, the Yellow Rubber Duck has finally made its way to Macau. From April 29 to May 27, the Yellow Rubber Duck will float in the waters between the Macao Science Center and the Guanyin Lotus Pavilion for nearly a month. During this period, the organizers will also set up a themed exhibition area inside the Macao Science Center, showcasing the exciting journey of the Yellow Rubber Duck around the world. Additionally, Macau’s “Mr. Balloon Artist,” who once won a championship in a world-class balloon competition, will participate in this exhibition. His balloon art pieces themed around the Yellow Rubber Duck will be displayed in the indoor exhibition hall. In addition to taking photos with the adorable Yellow Rubber Duck, there will also be game booths set up in the science center where participants can win attractive gifts by playing games.

Besides the Yellow Rubber Duck, from now until September 11, the Macao Science Center is presenting the “Dinosaurs Alive in Macao” exhibition, bringing to life the dinosaurs that once ruled the Earth for over 160 million years, offering visitors a new perspective on this extinct species. The exhibition will feature 14 lifelike mechanical dinosaur models and 72 small dinosaur figurines, along with exciting interactive games for audiences, including the motion-sensing virtual reality experience “Brave the Dinosaur World,” the augmented reality coloring game “Dragons Come Alive at the Science Center,” and the augmented reality card game “Dinosaur Challenge Academy.” Moreover, the science center has planned a series of exhibition-related activities, such as the “Dinosaurs Alive in Macao” science lecture, the live-action guided tour “Dinosaur Hunters: Fossil Battle,” the theater-in-a-box “Mary’s Little Suitcase,” the live performance “The Secret Dinosaur in the Time Capsule,” and the brand-new dome show “My Dinosaur Era 3D.” With a rich and exciting lineup, fans of all ages who love dinosaurs shouldn’t miss this opportunity to visit.

The Yellow Rubber Duck’s exhibition in Macau is expected to spark new discussions and draw large crowds. Every Friday to Sunday during the exhibition period, the “Yellow Rubber Duck Fun Park” will also be held at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf, featuring delicious food, beautiful scenery, and fun games suitable for all ages.
