The Nangang High-Speed Rail Station will open to the public in July with advance ticket sales now available

The Nangang High-Speed Rail Station will officially begin operations on July 1, with ticket sales starting June 4. To allow passengers to become familiar with the station's various facilities ahead of time, the non-paid areas of Nangang Station will be open for free visits daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM from June 4 to 30. The paid area beyond the fare gates and the platform area can also be visited with guided tours by appointment.

From June 4 to 29, the Nangang High-Speed Rail Station has arranged special guided tours in the paid area beyond the fare gates and on the platform during four specific time slots each day: 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM. To ensure a quality experience, these tours are offered by “advance reservation” and “group entry and exit” only. Members of the public can register starting June 3 with the THSR customer service center.

After its opening, the Nangang High-Speed Rail Station becomes the northernmost station on the Taiwan High Speed Rail line and the third three-rail integrated station in northern Taiwan. It will help alleviate congestion at Taipei Station, allowing passengers easier access to areas such as Neihu, Nangang, Xizhi, and even Keelung and Yilan. With the station’s opening on July 1, the high-speed rail timetable will also be adjusted. Passengers planning to travel by high-speed rail should take note.
