The Egg Yolk Emperor has arrived—lounging through Kaohsiung’s sights and treats

The “Lazy Egg Yolk Guy Exhibition,” which attracted more than 250,000 visitors in Taipei, has now come to Kaohsiung ! The hugely popular “Egg Yolk Emperor” has also moved south to Kaohsiung, where fans can worship, pray for good fortune, and draw fortune sticks. The exhibition runs from now until August 28th at the National Science and Technology Museum in Kaohsiung. Hardworking modern folks, come see how Egg Yolk Guy takes it easy.

Centered around the daily life of Egg Yolk Guy, the exhibition presents diverse themes that showcase not only his lazy and cute everyday moments but also 19 precious original Egg Yolk Guy sketches. In the “Egg Yolk Guy’s Daily Life” section, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner are depicted, showing that there’s always an Egg Yolk Guy by your side no matter the time—allowing fans to dive deeper into his world.

The “Egg Yolk Guy Travels Taiwan” section introduces Taiwan’s unique customs and culture for the first time. The highlight is the only temple in Taiwan dedicated to eggs—“Egg Yolk Mansion”—located in the center of the Taiwan area. Visitors can experience local temple culture by throwing divining blocks and drawing fortune poems.

With Egg Yolk Guy’s arrival in southern Taiwan, the exhibition has added more local Kaohsiung elements, including iconic architecture, scenic spots, night markets, and delicious specialty foods.
