The longest terrazzo slide in northern Taiwan—Qingqing Grassland, a great spot for spring outings

Located in Hsinchu City, the "19-Hectare Qingqing Grassland" features the longest terrazzo slide in northern Taiwan. Officially opened on July 29, the terrazzo slide is 54 meters long in total and is divided into four sections following the mountain’s contours. The design also meets amusement facility safety standards, making it perfect for family fun.

Qingqing Grassland is a popular destination for spring outings in Hsinchu. The city government has allocated a budget of NT$22.5 million to improve recreational facilities at Qingqing Grassland. Along the mountain contours, the longest terrazzo slide in northern Taiwan has been designed, along with additional play platforms and treehouses, aiming to help children build physical strength and stimulate creativity through play.

The Hsinchu City Government has built a children’s playground and a bird-watching education area, featuring four large colorful terrazzo slides, a children’s climbing net, a bird-watching treehouse, and a children’s voice tube among other play facilities. The longest terrazzo slide has a total slide length of 54 meters. A tap water system and streetlights have been installed along the 3-kilometer-long pathway, aiming to create the most popular outdoor family and children's park in northern Taiwan.
