Sixty Stone Mountain's daylily season sees golden blooms carpeting the slopes

The Hualien Sixty Stone Mountain Daylily Season runs from August 5 to September 19. Thanks to the absence of typhoons this year, the daylilies have bloomed on schedule atop Sixty Stone Mountain in Fuli Township, creating a vast golden sea of blossoms that shimmer like radiant gold, with the majestic mountain and field landscapes leaving an unforgettable impression on visitors.

Hualien’s Yuli Town Chike Mountain and Fuli Township Sixty Stone Mountain are Taiwan’s two major high-mountain daylily production areas. The 46-day Sixty Stone Mountain Daylily Season not only offers the chance to climb to vantage points to admire the breathtaking mountain flower seas but also hosts a daylily photography competition, allowing more people to enjoy the beauty of the floral displays.

To make flower viewing more convenient for visitors, the Fuli Township Farmers' Association has organized special shuttle buses that take visitors around the daylily fields of Sixty Stone Mountain and also distribute locally themed souvenirs. Additionally, to support the event, the association has set up a parking lot at the mountain’s base to ensure smooth traffic flow for flower enthusiasts.
