Taipei Zoo — The entire park has 6 gyms and 69 PokéStops located along visitor routes, which is considered quite sufficient. Many players have noted that they can indeed catch many Pokémon in the zoo area. On the PokéMap, please note that PokéStops located in restricted operational areas (marked in gray on the map) should not be entered without authorization. Also, be mindful of your own safety while catching Pokémon and viewing animals in the zoo. Taipei Zoo closes at 5 PM but will stay open until 9 PM on Saturday, August 13 and Saturday, August 20, giving players more time to catch Pokémon. Taipei Zoo acted swiftly this time by releasing an open letter titled “To All Pokémon Trainers,” combining the concepts of mobile gaming and zoo animal trainers, successfully creating an alternative form of marketing for the tourist attraction.
