Nong Han Kum Pavapi Freshwater Lake in Udon Thani Province, Thailand, is covered with blooming red lotuses from December to February every year. The magnificent red lotus sea is truly unique. In addition, the area is rich in biodiversity, often hosting water birds that come to rest and feed, offering visitors a chance to enjoy a natural ecological experience. Red lotuses bloom in the early morning and close before noon, so the ideal time to view the blooming red lotuses is from around 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. Travelers can rent a boat to get an up-close view of the red lotuses.
