Hop on the fairytale train – a new travel choice in Ruisui

The Huatung Valley has long been one of Taiwan’s most renowned scenic landmarks, stretching 180 kilometers from north to south, a spectacular sight formed by tectonic compression. The attraction we’re introducing today is a new highlight in Ruisui Township, Hualien. While Ruisui is perhaps best known for Fuyuan National Forest Recreation Area, not far from the park lies Fuxing Village, where a 12-hectare flatland afforestation project – the Fuxing Forest Amusement Park – has been established. Its biggest draw is Taiwan’s first green-energy light rail train. Riding the train allows you to enjoy the dreamy lake and pineapple park within the park, making it perfect for visitors of all ages. It’s also a great spot for photos with the train.
