Its stunning realism has drawn amazed reactions, and authorities have even posted notices advising those with acrophobia, heart conditions, or related health issues to use it with caution. It has unexpectedly become a new alternative attraction.

The Yashima Rest Area on the Seto Central Expressway will unveil a limited-time sky toilet from the 22nd until the end of March, offering visitors an experience as if they’re floating in midair. Its astonishing realism has sparked widespread discussion. There is one men’s and one women’s toilet, both featuring walls, floors, and ceilings covered with 360-degree aerial photos taken from the diagonal steel cable supports of the Seto Ohashi Bridge, suspended at a height of 170 meters (about 40 stories), creating a VR-like simulated reality with remarkable authenticity.
