Have you been to Pingtung’s “most beautiful green tunnel”? The 1.2-kilometer-long“Siling Green Tunnel”features 500 Chinese parasol trees on both sides whose overlapping canopies resemble a giant umbrella, sheltering passersby in this lush green world. Paired with the surrounding pastoral scenery, it attracts many visitors for photoshoots and is also a favorite spot for joggers and cyclists.

Also known as the Siling Walking Trail, the Siling Green Tunnel is located in Chaozhou Township, Pingtung County, near the Eight Great Forest Amusement Park. Stretching 1.2 kilometers, it takes about 40 minutes to walk through. Along the route, there are motivational signs such as “10,000 steps a day keeps health guaranteed,” encouraging walkers. Benches are placed for resting, and there is also a rest station at the end of the tunnel for people to catch their breath and use the restroom.
