Valentine’s Day Exclusive: Sword Lake Mountain Shark Attack – ShakeItBaby

Sword Lake World is celebrating the upcoming Western Valentine’s Day with a special “Shark Attack Shake It Baby” couples-only event on February 12th at the world’s first 180-degree pendulum VR Great White Shark ride. Couples must shake their handheld pedometers with maximum strength and great coordination while the VR Great White Shark is in motion. Before the race, each couple must share a kiss for verification, then board the Poseidon ship. During the ride, their hands will be tied to ropes equipped with pedometers, and they must work together to shake them as the ride operates. The top three couples with the highest number of shakes will also receive little love gifts.

In addition to the continuous screams at the event, couples striving for the love gifts wore VR glasses and energetically raised their hands to shake their arms, increasing their pedometer counts—resulting in humorous and entertaining scenes. The winning couple, surnamed Yan from Kaohsiung, claimed the championship with 365 shakes.

To welcome Western Valentine’s Day, from February 11th to 19th, visitors who carry lanterns or wear bloomers can purchase park tickets for just NT$599. During the day, enjoy popular VR attractions both on land and sea (VR Dinosaur Coaster, VR Great White Shark), the Supercar Air Cushion Fat-Burning Battle, Flying Submarine G5, and more. At night, head to Huwei, Yunlin to admire the beautiful lanterns at the Taiwan Lantern Festival.

Additionally, the public can visit the Happy Lantern Area to purchase Sword Lake World’s super shark discount tickets: park admission for NT$899, get one more ticket for just NT$1 more.
