Must-visit attraction: A 300-year-old Anhui-style ancient house at Feilai Platform accessible via the Taoyuan Airport MRT

With the opening of the Taoyuan Airport MRT, many attractions have gradually drawn increasing crowds. The Luzhu Dafu Mansion in Luzhu District, Taoyuan, located near the MRT’s A17 Linghang Station, is a 300 to 400-year-old Anhui-style ancient house. The owner specially dismantled it from Anhui, China, and had it reassembled in Taiwan, which shows great thought and care. Huizhou-style architecture is one of the most important schools of ancient Chinese architecture, encompassing residential houses, ancestral temples, and memorial archways. Its spatial designs are rich and exhibit a distinct sense of rhythm and beauty. It also integrates architectural carving art into stone carvings, wood carvings, and brick carvings, giving the buildings an opulent and magnificent appearance. The mansion also houses Du’s Residence Coffee, combining an ancient residence with a café to create a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
