Recently, golden bell trees are in full bloom. In many areas across central and southern Taiwan, they have been planted as street trees. When in season, ordinary-looking streets and embankments instantly transform into romantic golden avenues. Below are two stunning spots in Chiayi County for viewing the yellow blossoms, namely near the Chiayi County Zhongpu Township Farmers’ Association’s Meimei Office and along the embankment near Junhui Bridge. The colorful golden scenery is truly impressive, and the golden bell tree avenue by Junhui Bridge has even been praised by netizens as the most beautiful embankment in Taiwan — a classic must-visit spot for flower viewing.
