Colored Calla Lilies & Vibrant Flower Seas – New Hotspot for Airport MRT Travel

Coming in the midst of the annual calla lily season, the most renowned spot is Zhuzihu in Yangmingshan, where pristine white calla lilies radiate vitality and embody the essence of spring. In addition to the classic white variety, farms in Taoyuan now feature a riot of colorful calla lilies in yellow, red, and purple. The 2017 Taoyuan Colored Calla Lily Festival has transformed nearly 6 hectares of farmland near 847 Shengde North Road into a vast sea of vibrant blooms, kicking off on March 31. The event also debuts specially crafted colored calla lily cotton candy, using floral festivities to attract visitors for flower appreciation and stimulate local tourism and economic growth.

Running from March 31 to April 9, the Taoyuan Colored Calla Lily Festival will feature an opening carnival, weekend picnics, mini garden tours, and Instagram-worthy large-scale installations. Visitors can take the Airport MRT to A18 or A19 stations and transfer to a free shuttle bus to reach the venue.
