200,000 Pyeong of One Million Sunflowers in Full Bloom – The Largest Sunflower Festival

Seeing vast fields of bright yellow sunflowers lifts the spirits. The Taebaek Sunflower Festival is Korea’s largest and longest-running sunflower festival, featuring over one million sunflowers and cosmos flowers spread across a flower field spanning more than 200,000 pyeong, where visitors can enjoy photography and take part in various hands-on activities.

Korea’s largest sunflower field is located in Gugwogo Village, Taebaek-si, Gangwon-do, and is complemented by over 300 species of wildflowers and installation art, creating a vibrant and magnificent sea of blooms. In addition, the site offers guided tours, exhibitions, performances, food, and sales of related products, allowing visitors to not only admire the flowers but also enjoy a variety of experiences.
