Located in Hengchun City, the deer-themed eco-park “Deer Realm” is home to an adorable herd of sika deer. Its open farm space allows visitors to get up close with Bambi, feed them, take photos, and more—making animal-loving netizens’ hearts melt and earning it the nickname “Taiwan’s Little Nara.”
 

In the past, sika deer were nearly driven to extinction due to overhunting, but in recent years, thanks to the restoration efforts of the Kenting National Park Headquarters, many wild sika deer can now be spotted within the park. “Deer Realm” also breeds sika deer on its own farm, where visitors can have zero-distance interactions and feed the deer.

On the soft lawns, you can see sika deer of various sizes roaming leisurely. If you want to try feeding them, you can buy carrots or special feed. Watching the deer approach cutely for food will make you exclaim how adorable they are.

The chance to interact with sika deer is truly rare in Taiwan. When visiting Kenting, it’s highly recommended to stop by Deer Realm and play with these adorable little Bambis.
