Typhoon No. 12 moves away but may affect Taiwan next week

According to weather monitoring by Europe, the U.S., and other regions, simulations also indicate that a tropical depression will pass through the Bashi Channel between next Tuesday and Wednesday. If a typhoon forms in the southeastern waters of Taiwan next Thursday (8/24), it could impact the country—something to keep an eye on.
The Universiade opens this weekend, and the Dadaocheng Fireworks will take place next week. Numerous travel events across Taiwan are also in full swing during the summer vacation. When going out, pay attention to sun protection, as most monitoring stations have recently recorded dangerous levels of ultraviolet rays—exposure for just 15 minutes can cause sunburn.
