1. Taitung – National Museum of Prehistory
Inside the National Museum of Prehistory, there is a mini version of a maze surrounded by massive stones, creating an immersive atmosphere as if you’re in a movie scene.

The Museum of Prehistoric Cultures is Taiwan’s first museum dedicated to prehistoric and indigenous cultures, and the only national-level museum in eastern Taiwan. It includes the Museum of Anthropology, the Beinan Archaeological Site, and the Natural Ecology Park, allowing visitors to gain a clear understanding of Taiwan’s prehistoric studies and the development of indigenous culture.

2. New Taipei – Jinguashi Shrine

Also known as the Golden Shrine, Jinguashi Shrine is accessible via the Gold Museum. The trail is about 600 meters long, taking approximately 15 to 20 minutes to walk. It was built during the Japanese colonial period to soothe public sentiment during mining operations. The shrine’s pillared halls and stone lanterns, arranged like a mystical formation, create a fantasy-novel-like ambiance and are a must-photograph spot in Jinguashi.
