1. Taiwan’s Version of Kenrokuen – Chenglin Agarwood Sightseeing & Leisure Farm
Chenglin Agarwood Sightseeing & Leisure Farm covers an area of approximately 5.8 hectares and is Asia’s only agarwood ecological park. Outdoors, there is an elegant Japanese garden, a sand play area, and the most eye-catching large landscape ecological pond, known as Yunlin’s version of a central water body.

The Japanese Zen-style landscaping is simple and elegant, with over 80 varieties of trees planted in the garden for visitors to admire. Indoors, there are various exquisitely crafted wooden artworks, including the world’s largest preserved thousand-year-old sacred tree from Alishan and a two-story-high thousand-year-old agarwood log. It is an ecological park that combines nature, environmental protection, and quality, and has become a new photography landmark for tourism in Yunlin.

2. The Second Sun Moon Lake – i, Wu Retention Basin
Yunlin’s “i, Wu Retention Basin” has recently been hailed by netizens as Taiwan’s second Sun Moon Lake. Although it’s not a well-known spot and doesn’t attract large crowds, it boasts a lake view that rivals that of Sun Moon Lake. The shimmering waters and tranquil atmosphere are truly captivating.

Kouhu Township in Yunlin was once one of the areas most severely affected by land subsidence. The county government transformed the abandoned farmland suffering from seawater intrusion into the i, Wu Retention Basin. This not only solved the flooding problem but, through the craftsmanship of nature over time, has also become a stunning lake attraction.
