The long-reigning king of popular Japanese stickers—“Kanahei”—is making its first large-scale solo exhibition overseas, with its first stop in Taipei’s Huashan. Japanese illustrator Kanahei began creating stickers in response to fan requests. These cute and practical stickers are not only loved in Japan but also set a record in Taiwan with over 200 million stickers sent in a single month. Her most well-known characters are Pisuke and the pink bunny, whose adorable faces make you want to pinch them. In this exhibition, Pisuke and the pink bunny will transform into magicians, leading everyone to the town where the little animals live. At the “Kanahei’s Charming Little Town” special exhibition, in addition to seeing these cute animals in their hilariously everyday antics, the exhibition will also showcase the author “Kanahei’s” studio, giving visitors a glimpse into how the animals are drawn and the process behind their creation.

Hop on the little animal train with Conductor Pisuke and head to the town where the little animals live！The town is meticulously designed and supervised by Kanahei, featuring magical and fantastical streets filled with little animal sightings. There’s even an SNG live broadcast of town news. In addition to scenes like a church, police station, and park, there are also homes of the little animals, allowing you to relax and play along with them！Watch Pisuke play video games at home and see how he conquers each level. Also keep an eye out in every corner—you might find the pink bunny dressed as an eggplant selling vegetables, or Pisuke working at a chick factory, among many super kawaii scenes.

The town features a stargazing room where you can admire the starry sky and listen to soothing music. You can also enjoy a cozy atmosphere that feels like home. The highlight of this room is the projection of Kanahei’s illustrations. Aside from showcasing six exquisitely hand-drawn artworks, there are also dozens of sticker illustrations, as well as three-dimensional figurines of Kanahei’s little animals.
